On Monday, the group went to the Royal Palace and the Temple
of the Emerald Buddha. It was an extraordinary experience to hear about the
history and significance of the temple. The architecture was immaculate and
unlike anything I have ever seen before in previous travels. I was astounded at
the number of people visiting as well as the number of people praying before
the buddhas. This is without a doubt a sight worth seeing in Thailand! We are
off to hike in the mountains in one of Thailand’s national parks, which many of
us are extremely excited for. Stay tuned for more from our adventures!
