We visited Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute
(BIDI) and received multiple lectures from experts at the hospital. We went over
cases like we are used to at UNE COP and discussed them with one of the doctors.
We received lectures about how the pharmacy works. It is interesting in that
the pharmacists generally only work in one disease state, for example, tuberculosis.
We got a tour of the pharmacy as well as the tuberculosis ward and emergency
waiting area.
